Really diggin’ this video Curren$y and Creative Control put out for the track “Nuthin But Us” feat. Smoke DZA. Not only is the track fire, the no-gravity space theme is gangster.

I still think Creative Control are putting the cleanest visual shorts and vids out there right now. The style is on point. If you haven’t checked out their stuff, make sure and do it here.

The much anticipated release from Wiz Khalifa, “Kush & Orange Juice” finally hit the internet yesterday making a big impact on the rap game and showing what sort of damage an independent artist can do when using today’s internet marketing machine to their advantage. Not only was the buzz extremely high in anticipation for the tape’s release, the music lived up to all the hype.

3rd ID was lucky enough to create the artwork for Kush & Orange Juice pulling inspiration from soul singer David Ruffin’s 1980 release, “Gentleman Ruffin“. The vintage style of the cover matches the feel of Wiz’s music perfectly and the art/music combo is a great mix.

The 3rd has been keeping a good relationship with up and coming artist G5-Gi and received some recent shots of him for his latest photo shoot rocking his turquoise Cavalry & Lawn Club tee. If you ‘aint familiar with the kid, here’s some info off his site…

“Organic Hip-Hop seems like it is on the come up once again. G5-Gi feels like now is as good a time as any to leave his mark on the industry. G5-Gi has mainstream marketability, but his stand against “cookie cutter music” is what makes him appeal to all music lovers.

Watching music being made is fuggin’ great. It’s always dope to get some inside looks into talented artist’s methods for creating their music and seeing the antics and fun that they have while doing so. After watching this Closed Sessions/Ruby Hornet video of Hollywood Holt, U-N-I, CurT@!n$ and Million $ Mano mashing out the heater “So Cold,” we had to share the video. These are some of the top up and coming talents that we strongly support and urge you to do so as well.
